Bullshit NHL Reffing
So far I thought calls were going ok in the Devils and Hurricanes series until Eric Furlatt decided to have the biggest non-call of the series as Carolina beat the Devils with a goal at .2 seconds left after Martin Brodeur was interfered with. It was fucking blatant, the Carolina announcers saying Brodeur went looking for trouble are fucking out of their minds, Jussi Jokinen ran at Brodeur and the rules clearly state that should have been called. The ref was wrong, the War Room should have intervened and it should be within their power, and quite honestly the Carolina Hurricanes can go fuck themselves. Whether the Canes deserved to win even though they blew a 3 goal lead or not is irrelevant, that should have been a penalty called and no goal. Fuck you refs, officiating throughout the season was horrendous (and go figure, the Devils were the team with the least power play opportunities of all 30), you call bullshit penalties that doesn’t interfere with the play and then tell the winningest goaltender of all time how to play by saying he had time to get back on the play to stop it? Don’t you think he would have since he actually DID try to recover and still missed?
After sitting there in disbelief, I am absolutely fucking livid. The only consolation keeping me from breaking things was watching Brodeur lose it and thinking how that will fire up the entire team to completely annihilate the Canes next game.
