Haha, well, I wrote it for myself more than anyone else. I didn't realize it was so long until after I posted it.

Anyway, I'm not sure that the setlist was shortened because they came on late. It has been the same one for a few different shows which you can see on the MuseWiki site. All the gigs that have happened have the setlist posted.

I think Undisclosed Desires was necessary as I think they are intended to make it the second single off the album. They have been including it in a lot of gigs so far and I would venture to agree that, as a single, it has the most widespread appeal. With that said, it is one of the songs I would have stricken from the setlist as well, and I wound up recording it only because I knew it would be easy to have a steady hand and not move around a little :p

Geez, that was way to much detail than anyone would ever care to read. Regardless, thanks for the evaluation of the show. For the record, I was there, (arrived barely on time too) and came for only muse but was honestly impressed by U2 so I stayed. For Muse, I assume because they went on 30 minutes late they only played those 7 or 8 songs. On their set list, they left off Resistance, KOC and then an optional plug-in baby. I guess they ran out of time and had to close with TIRO instead? But yeah, I was disappointed with them choosing Undisclosed Desires. I mean, okay song, but LIVE?! in a stadium?! and out of all the others on their new CD to play, Guiding light or MK Ultra would have been SICK there! Oh well, alright I guess. Can't wait for their headlining tour in the Spring. Hopefully they will play somewhere with better acoustics next time. Perhaps Nokia in Grand Prairie like '07.
