Hello --
I also tried downloading and installing Picasa 3, it was a disaster-- first, without warning, it tries to catalog EVERY single picture on your PC, indiscriminately, with no way to do this selectively. As soon as you boot it up it just starts trashing your system, and the worst of it is, it CHANGES THE FILE ASSOCIATIONS of all your exisisting pictures!!! There is no choice, no warning, no nothing-- it just reindexed everything and changed all my file associations! Worse, you can't stop this process while it is running (forever!!!!) or it CRASHES your system! I had to power off twice to get it to stop and the second time it corrupted my video display driver and I got a black screen!
The user should be warned and given the options of the directories you want indexed, but it's backwards in Picasa 3 and you "hide" the directories you don't want it to show, which can take a LONG time.
This is the reverse of what it should be.
Sorry, Google but I will not install this crapware again.
People should be warned about it.

I actually setup a private email address on falaris.com that fMoblog checks every few minutes. It accesses via POP3 I think, which I know is an option in gmail, so I don't know why it wouldn't work unless you only enabled IMAP and not POP3.

Also i´ve tried flickr, but the problem i see, is that you need the pictures to be stored at one group be taken from viewer, that means that after send them, i need to access to flickr and move them to the correct group.. is any way to get over this?

Hi again, just wanted to ask you about fmoblog, finally i´ve tried to install it. But.. everything seems correct, without errors, unless pics are not being sent to the fmoblogs folders.
I´ve created a gmail account and make imap option available, the email with the attached pic is received, but it is not sent. Did you have problems like this? What kind of account do you use to let them work? i mean yahoo, gmail, etc..?
Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
